Providing professional counseling services for children and adults to support emotional well-being and personal growth.

Are you feeling constantly on edge, not motivated, or unable to do things you once found so much joy in doing? Is your mood or stress level affecting your relationships? Do you second guess yourself as a parent trying to raise a child with these same struggles? Anxiety, depression, family issues, or a trauma history can rob us of so much of what makes life wonderful. Having someone to talk to may help you or your child work through their difficulties and can make the difference between just existing and truly living the life you were meant to live. I specialize in supporting children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or who have experienced trauma, in a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings while developing coping strategies to improve their well-being. As an experienced therapist I am dedicated to helping clients navigate these challenges and work towards healing and personal growth. If you or a loved one is struggling, please don't hesitate to reach out for support.

My approach to therapy:

I work from a relational and neuroscience-based lens, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's specific needs and goals. Drawing from a variety of modalities including play therapy, creative expression, sandtray therapy, CBT, DBT, and AEDP, I ensure a holistic approach to counseling. My practice is deeply rooted in being client-centered, trauma-informed, and affirming of neurodiversity. By integrating these principles, I aim to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore and navigate their unique experiences. Each client is welcomed as the unique individual they are and are welcomed into the counseling space exactly as they are. I offer therapy in English and Spanish in the Rochester, Brighton, and Pittsford area in person and online throughout New York State.

In my experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings, I have received training on various approaches to assist families and individuals in healing emotional wounds, overcoming relational challenges, addressing educational obstacles, and gaining clarity in their lives and relationships. My focus is on empowering individuals to become the person they aspire to be, supporting them in reaching their envisioned goals for themselves and their families. Through a neutral and non-judgmental approach, I aim to provide a safe space for exploration and growth.
